✨ 3rd Annual December Showcase

We are so excited to celebrate our dancers at Precision Dance’s 3rd Annual December Showcase at Danville High School! Our showcase is a special opportunity for our dancers to perform on stage, celebrate all they have learned, and create wonderful memories with their families.

📅 Showcase Day — December 12

We will have three shows on the same day:

Show 1 — 10:30 AM
Show 2 — 2:00 PM
Show 3 — 6:00 PM

We have worked hard to keep families together in one show whenever possible. A small number of families with dancers in multiple classes may need to attend more than one show. Your dancer’s assigned show is shown in the drop-down menu below. Just find your class and your show will be revealed. Please note: If your child(ren) is in multiple classes that happen to be in more than one show, you will be notified via email.

Elevate team will perform in all three shows.

What to Expect

  • We are excited to offer costume rentals this year to help keep showcase costs budget-friendly!

    Depending on your dancer’s class, costumes will be either:

    • $30 rental costume

    • $15 rental accessory

    • A costume that parents purchase separately

    Costume fees will be added to accounts by October 15 and are due November 1. Rental costumes must be returned to the studio by December 23.

    All dancers will also need a nude leotard, appropriate dance shoes, and performance earrings. Ballet dancers will also need footed pink tights. Optional studio purchases will be available for these items.

  • Everyone 5 years old and older attending the showcase will need a ticket.

    Presale: November 1–7 — $10 per ticket
    At dress rehearsal/showcase: $15 per ticket

    Households with dancers performing in multiple shows may purchase tickets to their second show at 50% off.

    Presale tickets must be ordered through the Google Form sent November 1 and paid for by November 20. Tickets are non-refundable.

  • tudents participating in the showcase must have their costume fees paid and all tuition current, including December tuition.

    If you do not wish for your dancer to participate, please email info@precisiondanceky.com by October 1 with the subject line “recital opt out.”

    A small number of technique, tumbling, and Elevate Team classes will not perform in the showcase. Class-specific information will be provided by the studio.

  • Rather than charging a separate recital participation fee, we require participating dancers to pay their regular December tuition. This helps cover the cost of the venue, dress rehearsal, staff, and other showcase expenses.

    Each participating dancer will also receive:

    • 🏅 A showcase medal

    • 📸 Professional stage photography

    • 🎥 Digital video of all showcase dances

    Media will be delivered digitally within approximately two weeks following the showcase.

  • We will also offer optional showcase purchases, including:

    • Showcase T-shirts featuring our dancers' names

    • Bouquets

    • Gift packages

    • Refreshments from our Premier Team

    More information about optional purchases, hair, makeup, dress rehearsal schedules, and show procedures will be provided in November.

Showcase Day Itinerary

  • → Where do we park?

    • Park in the lot in front of the school or in the lots in the back or to the left of the school.

    → Where do we enter?

    • Enter in the front of the building. This will take you into the lobby where you can find your will call tickets or purchases.

    → Where do dancers go?

    • Your dancer will either go backstage to be prepped for the show or stay with you until intermission. Please see your personal email for details.

    → When should we arrive?

    • Arrive at least 20-30 minutes before the show.

  • → Can parents leave?

    • No. Please stay for the entire time your child is at the showcase. If your child finishes before the show is over, please stay until intermission or a break, then you may leave if you’d like.


    → Can dancers watch the show?

    • Some dancers can watch the show if they finish their routines and come back to parents during intermission, or vice versa. Otherwise, dancers will be backstage.


    → Are dancers backstage the whole time?

    • Dancers may be backstage the whole time, depending on which routines they will be performing in.

  • → Where do we pick up our dancer?

    • Please pick up your dancer backstage and sign them out on the roster sheet.


    → When do we receive medals?

    • Medals will be given out during the show, at the end, and we will do our final bow onstage. If you leave before the final bow, you may pick up your medal at the studio during office hours.


    → When/how are costumes returned?

    • If you rented a costume, please return it by December 23rd. Late fees will be applied if not received by this date.
